On a congratulatory note, the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled in Favor of the appeal as presented by the Multani Family of Quebec. Sikhs in Canada have struggled and fought to maintain their Sikh Identity at every corner. First the battle for the right to wear the turban was won and today the right to wear the kirpan in the school system. “It seems as if we are always thrown into the lions den, in order to preserve our identity”
